Those kind of attitudes really undermine design as a profession.

I’m no UX designer myself but I think the purpose of UX is to make, well, user experiences.

Yet, many times UX is seen as “slap these flat saturated colors, big sans-serif type and mono line width illustrations”. Yeah, It’s beautiful to look at, but, Does it work? Do I bring something meaningful or is it another me-too product?

I think that since in digital products like apps UX is the product following a checklist just doesn’t cut it.
