Demi Lovato Couldn’t Wait to Reveal New Single Title and Release Date
Demi Lovato eagerly unveiled the cover art, track name, and release date to her first new single since the release of “Anyone” at the 2020 Grammys. Fans were taken by surprise as new music from Lovato will be here sooner than they thought. The track title is called, “I Love Me” and will be released Friday March 6, 2020.
On Tuesday night (March 2) Lovato wrote to Instagram, “”Couldn’t keep it a secret any longer!!! My new single #ILoveMe is out on Friday.” After hearing the ballad she performed at the Grammys, many fans are wondering if the single will be similar or more upbeat. Some believe that this single will be a high paced pop song about self empowerment.
According to Billboard, this single will serve as her first lead single to a full-length studio set since 2017’s Tell Me You Love Me. Fans are eager to hear Lovato’s new album as a source says it is “vulnerable” and talks a lot about the struggles she has gone through in the last year. Lovato has been writing and recording a lot of music about these struggles in order to help herself cope with what she has been dealing with and to share more of her story.
There is still no set release date for this upcoming album, but it is supposedly scheduled to drop sometime this summer. Lovato wants to reconnect with fans again by going on tour and after two incredible live performances in 2020 thus far, she is clearly ready get back into performing for her audience.
