Grammy Awards 2020 Performance Recap
The 2020 Grammys aired on January 26th and featured 19 live performances. Here is a recap of just a few of them:
Billie Eilish
Billie Eilish performed her song, “When The Party’s Over” with her brother/producer Finneas accompanying her on the piano. Eilish took home 5 Grammy awards including song and record of the year. She now holds the record for youngest Grammy winner in all 4 main categories at just 18 years old.
Tyler, the Creator with Charlie Wilson and Boyz II Men
Tyler, the Creator brought the heat with a performance of two of his newest hits, “EARFQUAKE” and “NEW MAGIC WAND.” Accompanied by lead singer of The Gap Band, Charlie Wilson, and Boyz II Men, Tyler and his army of IGOR’s mobbed the stage before it broke into flames. He won his first Grammy later on that night.
Camila Cabello
Camila Cabello performed a song about her father, Alejandro, called “First Man” off her new album Romance. Videos of Cabello and her father played in the background of the emotional performance. Camila ended the song by walking to the front row where her father was sitting and embracing him.
