How to earn money in $Pixels the fastest way: A beginner guide

Pixels is a casual play-to-earn game where you can earn the cryptocurrency token $Pixel worth $0.50. The gaming company, Skymavis is backing Pixels, which is also behind the successful web 3.0 game Axie Infinity.

To get started you have to set up an account on Pixels and complete the in-game tutorial. In this guide, I will show you my learnings so you can save time to earn $Pixel efficiently.

First prioritize to earn coins with farming. Coins can be used to buy utilities which later can unlock $Pixel.
To speed up your farming you should use public lands with 60 soils and bookmark them (For example land #1686).

To enter public lands go to Terravilla. Click the land icon as shown below and click “Go to Terravilla”

Once you are in Terravilla walk left and enter the “P.L.O.T.” building at the entrance. You have to move your character to the door and wait a few seconds.

Then go upstairs to and go to the “infiniportal”

Enter “1686” (This land has 60 soils and a coop to farm eggs) and click “GO”.

To quickly access the land in the future you need to bookmark it.
Click on the entrance gate

Now you can teleport to the land you have bookmarked from anywhere to farm and save time. You do this by clicking on the land icon again.

Then click on the bookmark icon and then the green “GO” button.

Once you progress in the game you can go left or right from land #1686 to quickly access mines to farm ironite and windmills to craft flour

Buying seeds and earning coins

Go to “The Buck’s Galore” in Terravilla

Click on Hazel to talk to her, and then Launch the task board.

Click on the “Orders” tab to identify which crops you need to farm to unlock a reward. Below you can see that if you deliver 10 Popberries you will receive 1 XP in farming and 100 coins. If you deliver 1000 silk you earn a $Pixel. When you unlock an order, a new random order will come after a 4-minute cooldown. Notice the whole order book resets every 24 hours automatically.

Now click on the “Buy” tab and buy the seeds you need. In this case start with Popberry seeds. To buy other seeds you need to level up your farming skills. You gain XP to level up simply by farming. (See overview of energy usage and XP gain here in this link)

Now go to land #1686 to plant the crops, and repeat this until you have 600 coins. You should then start focusing on leveling up your cooking skills after farming since it doesn’t use energy. One of the main ingredients for cooking is eggs.
You need to buy a chicken to start farming eggs.

Go to land #1686 and put the chicken in the coop.

Once the chicken is in the coop you can claim an egg once an hour you click on the coop.

Now you are set with the fundamentals to repeat until you have coins enough to afterwords working with other industries, such as mining (drill), beekeeping etc. If you want to earn coins faster you should access the market place which requires at least 500 reputation points.
