Namecoin was the first ever Altcoin/Crypto launched after Bitcoin in 2011,
Originally Namecoin was the first ever coin to implement Satoshi’s BitBNS concept (offering a decentralized web domain service, launched as NAMEID)
Namecoin was the only crypto launched during the time of Satoshi being active, originally based on Satoshi’s concept.
With Development slowing down throughout the years on Namecoin, users flocked to other projects offering more advanced protocols.
