The Heart of Hyderabad’s Old City, Laad Bazaar

Laad bazaar, a street that surrounds the Charminar gives life to the monument. It can be defined as the heart of Hyderabad’s old city. It is packed with many vendors most of them sell glass bangles, dresses and other ornaments. The colours of the large sets of glass bangles decorate the bazaar.
I visited the place during Ramadan. Laad Bazaar also has a food street, which serves authentic Hyderabadi food that includes it’s famous biriyani, haleem and different desserts, drinks and starters. We tried around ten varieties, among which haleem and mulberry malai was my favorite.
The bazaar was fully lit up in the evening, the drizzling rain and the adhan added more beauty to the streets. I hope for more such evenings.
