This is an affirmation of my life, Edd, but I have always felt like a freak. I can’t understand people who are still close to their childhood friends, or are still best friends with their college roommates. I do not have that in my life, and sometimes it makes me feel isolated. But I think as we grow and change, we need different people around us to reflect that.

I see people as points of energy that float around in space. We touch each other and maybe stay a while, maybe not. But we always move on, changed, influenced by others, positively or negatively. Life is this constant shifting among people, as you say. Now I know I’m not the only one with that perspective.

(I also see I read these out of order, but now I’ve straightened it out!)
