Why Does This One Couch From West Elm Suck So Much?

I called last week and they were more than glad to switch out the sofa for me. After going to the store and deciding which sofa I should replace it with, I called them back just now and was told “there is no recall”, there is “just a button issue” and I have to send photos of the buttons to receive “replacements”. This is a total 180!
