Nanya PCB sees losses narrow in 2Q16
Nanya Printed Circuit Board (Nanya PCB) saw its net losses narrow to NT$230 million (US$7.32 million) in the second quarter of 2016 from the NT$322 million recorded a quarter earlier. Second-quarter EPS was negative NT$0.36.
For the first half of 2016, net losses totaled NT$552 million or NT$0.85 per share, compared to an EPS of NT$0.82 a year earlier.
The company posted revenues of NT$2.462 billion for July, up 0.75% on month and 7.53% on year. Accumulated 2016 revenues through July totaled N$17.528 billion, decreasing 2.69% from a year earlier.
The company is expected to swing back to profitability in the third quarter of 2016 thanks to increasing shipments of automobile boards, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report.
The company’s stock price stayed unchanged at NT$26.50 on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) during the August 18 session.
