Innovation in Resources can Save Mankind

Humans are Animals

We would eat each other alive if it came to it.

Watch a group of hungry men and study how they behave. Social disciplines and behaviors deteriorate. As a survival tactic, we would undercut each other at all costs. Despite our advances as a species, our social structure is held together by the perception of endless resources. Those resources are not infinite and will eventually run out. Without alternative solutions, I fear there will be a turning point for mankind and our evolution. This is not a skeptical interpretation of the apocalypse or a pessimistic attitude about humans. This is a harsh realization that our dependence on materials has blanketed us for too long. Sustainable resources are our only option for continuance.

Animals are capable of wonderful things. Compassion, respect, love, bravery, sacrifice and creation. Let’s not forget these things that bind us together as a tribe. When the day comes where we have to make decisions about life and death, remember that we progress together or perish as individuals.
