Moments of Love

Maybe love are the times when you feel happy, adoration, fun, and joy with someone, or even yourself. In other words, it could be that the more times you get to spend with someone and feel these feelings, could be how your love is measured. Any withdrawal, cancellation, or refusal of that quality time could potentially compromise the love you have for someone. So why do we give those we claim to care about less than what they deserve?

Why do we give ourselves less than what we deserve?

It is possible that we allow the negative aspects of our lives to cloud all the positive.

It is possible that in that cloud, it is difficult to parse out the love we feel and the love we crave.

We should harness those good times. If they do not outweigh the bad, make them.

Grab those good times and do not let them go. Allow the bad to fade. The good is what you want to always keep with you.

Hopefully those good times manifest into moments of love.

Think about the times you have smiled, laughed, cried tears of joy, and just embraced someone.

Think about those warm sunny days, and those cozy cool nights.

Think about those periods of peace and clarity.

Think about all the good times that float gingerly in your mind.

There is a theory that most people do not know love until they lose it. On the off chance that theory has some validity, we should be curating what we consider love to be, and display it boldly.

It is easy to loosen our grip, just because the circumstances of life come up intermittently, and do not always work in our favor. But, we cannot loosen our grip for too long or too much, because we can lose it. We can lose that time, that person, that moment of love.

It may be ideal to establish a space where love can flourish and be in abundance.

Be open and receptive to others and new experiences. Assure people that you will be there for them. Be an ear to listen, and an eye to see. Be present and transparent. Be there.

No matter what happens there will always be moments. Moments of frustration, sorrow, anger, clarity, grief, confusion, enlightenment, and of course love.

Let’s try to make more moments of love.

Let’s start today.
