Please explain how the Sanders campaign “completely disregards issues relating to women and children, and indeed culture-specific issues.” Is it Sanders’ pro-choice stand and belief that women have the right to control their own bodies? His fight for pay equity and a $15 minimum wage? His support of 12 weeks of paid maternity leave? The idea that a woman should be president because she’s a woman is, frankly, embarrassing—and a stance that does a whole lot more to set women back than to move us forward.
