My point was that it can’t be technically characterized as a religion. Not in the same sense as other religions are for individual persons. Islam is a religion for the world, that only spreads in jails and amongst people that were brainwashed to hate America. Thus, it is an ideology.

I also was trying to explain why it’s not a moral influence amongst Republicans. It is in direct contrast to American values and civility.
