The recipients of the John H. McDonald Awards for Excellence in Student Journalism were announced at NASH82: Empower on Jan. 11 after an insightful keynote from podcaster and comedian Ryan McMahon. This year’s awards were coordinated by the Canadian University Press and the gala was hosted by Oldbyssey and current CBC municipal affairs reporter Justin McElroy.
