How I hacked CrossFit Open 2020
Soon it will be 4 years since my husband and I joined CrossFit. Back then I didn’t have a push-up, pull-up, or even an air squat, which would count as a rep. With the support of the CrossFit community, consistency and hard work(which we all know pays off ;) ) I slowly learned the basics.
A few days ago I claimed CrossFit games title of 2nd fittest masters woman in my country!
CrossFit Open 2020 has become the 3rd one for me and my husband.
After Open workout 20.2 my husband received this very detailed scorecard:
Usually, judges at our box put only checkboxes when a set has been finished. This judge put some extra information.
As a nerd and software developer, I decided I can visualize the scorecard
I was able to see how fast my husband was degrading on the trusters. So on Monday, he returned back for 20.2 redo. He took a more conservative approach at the beginning and was able to finish 16 rounds(opposite to 14)!
The next week Frederik Aegidius(20.2 winner) released this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPzLjg-4pws&t=217s so I decided to analyze him too.

To be completely honest with you, data entry from paper scorecard was painful, but in the end, graphics were a lot of fun to play with. So I build my on CrossFit timer too.
