Communist Party of China demands loyalty from publicity officials

“Chinese publicity officials must toe the Party line to better serve
the nation’s drive of building a moderately prosperous society in all
respects, a senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official said at a
national meeting for such officials on Tuesday. Liu Yunshan, a member
of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central
Committee, urged personnel promoting CPC policies to ‘stick to the
right political direction,’ conform to the ideology of the CPC Central
Committee and strictly observe the Party’s rules and regulations.” — China’s Xinhua agency
