Be a better you. Let's make the world a better place.

Transition #BettherYou #LongPost

A lot happen and there are times, you can’t explain what’s happening.

In our minds, lives. At workplaces, families and entire communities we live in. We just can’t comprehend it.

One powerful thing to put in mind is; It’s not the journey of the environment, it’s that of the traveler. The success of a journey is measured by how the passengers arrive other than how the state of the vehicle. Even though the safe arrival is dependent on the state of the vehicle.

No matter what it seems like, the safest and un-regrettable scenarios are when you voluntarily hold onto what’s right, true and genuine — not compromising with them.

It’s when you do not give me permission to define who you are. When you don’t even give conditions abilities to predict what patterns to take.

Be you. Be sober and in control, always making sure your conscience is clear.

Like they say; Good roads do not make good drivers, but Bad roads do. It does not have to be easy, in fact, it won’t. You do not need to be a master at them. You just need to be determined and hopeful and most important of all — be persistent.

There is that time when those things you use to find comfort in are no longer comfortable. When those funny jokes aren’t funny anymore when those kinds of friends you used to enjoy companion with aren’t enjoyable.

When you have one of the things you could die to have, yet feel like you still need more of it. That’s transition.

Transitions occur when priorities have changed. Priorities can only change when evaluation of some sort is done.

Importantly, there must be an Elijah for a successful Elisha. You will never be a better you in isolation. You need better friends (those who can challenge, rebuke, support and better than you), you need a community bigger than you.

That’s why you need a job at a company/organization whose boss has bigger dreams than you. Otherwise, you are wasting time and killing yourself. Anyways, that’s a story for another day.

Transitions can be great. Especially positive ones. The question is which one are you undergoing? I will leave you to answer that.

Let’s use the little that God has blessed us with (of course through hard work) to bless or somehow inspire others. God forbid that we boast of the little that he has given us or use it to oppress.

Finally, personal (scriptural) tips for better efficiency (Proverbs: 6:16–19) stop the following; Pride (pride look, lies, false witnesses among many more.

Let’s harness with one another with compassion and build a better generation. It starts with me. It starts with you. Because you can be a better you to others before being one to yourself.
