UBEREats DOES NOT DELIVER OUTSIDE OF THE EASTERN (Inner-West) SUBURBS.

To my suprise(not), I found out today that Uber Eats doesn’t deliver to BELMORE 2192. What kind of world do we live in, where a Canterbury girl can’t get her god damn, free SMASHED AVO ON TOAST?

Moving out to the West I’ve had to deal with a lot, but this really takes the (smashed avo on toast). Growing up in Bondi, did I think I would ever be exposed to this kind of cruelty? No. My innocent, 5 year old, 1st gen-self never considered that there was a big world out there. A world full of HSP’s, Gozleme and “such great food,” that was unheard of in the sheltered Eastern Suburbs.

Moving out of Bondi, first to neighbouring Maroubra, then it’s distant cousin Hillsdale, and next it’s immigrant uncle Rockdale, I slowly grew further away from the only world I ever knew.

As the Real Estate market went up so did the price I had to pay an Uber to trek it back to the places I once called home.

Now I am in lucky Belmore. Lucky that I have graced the friendly suburb with my residence, but not so lucky that it doesn’t get SMASHED AVO delivered.

I have had to take on the chin many hours of public transport just to get to work, uni, or any friend-meeting point. I will mention the fact that my fellow Eastern suburb chums refuse to explore any thing further than Mascot.

But this. This display of elitism and discrimination is what saddens me the most…apparently Uber doesn’t think that I am worth the value of our national currency (Avocados). Get fucked.
