The 5 things I’m DONE with this week

1. Kanye West was named GQ’s Most Stylish Man of 2015

Kanye West was named GQ’s “Most Stylish Man of the Year” on Tuesday night. The saddest part about this, is that actual people (yes citizens of this world!) voted for him in this annual year-end poll open to the public. Like I previous mentioned on Twitter when I originally heard the news, if wearing ugly pants, $1,000 plain hoodies that look like they came from Hot Topic, and baggy t-shirts that are all the same color (basically any shade of brown, black, or white) is considered ~*stylish*~ to the general public of this world that I’m living in, I’m moving to Mars. But it should come to no one’s surprise, since he won the title last year. I am done and I am gone.

Great outfit Kanye. Looks like you tried really hard to put that together. BTW, I totally have that scarf … or hanky?

2. Hoverboards

I originally thought these were cool at first, but like now these just need to #stawp. Why you may ask? ONE: You have two feet and you can walk with them. TWO: They are unsafe. *See linked article here in which it talks about hoverboard injuries and that there have been at least 21 fire incidents across the country involving hoverboards. THREE: They are straight up OBNOXIOUS and you look RIDICULOUS riding them if you are over the age of 13. Just Stop. No actually, Stawp.

3. Miranda Lambert follows Gwen Stefani on Twitter

The shade is so real here … or is it not??? Only time will tell after country singer Miranda Lambert followed her recently ex-husband Blake Shelton’s uber famous new girlfriend, singer Gwen Stefani on Twitter. Now, Miranda is currently dating some else (fellow county singer Anderson East), but some people, like myself, still don’t know if this is shade at its finest or a peace offering. So dear Miranda, if it is shade, your shade throwing execution was excellent here. Twitter is a great platform for celebs to be subtly mean to one another. If it isn’t shade, well then congrats for making amends! So why am I done with this? Because it is urking at me that I just don’t know which of the two it actually is! You decide. Btw, Stefani hasn’t followed her back … yet. *Update as of 01/04/16: Gwen “liked” one of Miranda’s tweets.

4. New Year’s Resolutions

“New Year! New Me!” OMFG am I sick of hearing this. For some people, they actually are really into and dedicated to their New Year’s resolutions, but for most, this is just a list of crap things you want to do for the year but never end up getting to. Instead of making New Year’s resolutions, I suggest making periodic goal lists throughout the year. Because geez people, you never know all the places life will take you in 365 days (or in 2016’s case, 366 #leapyear). Just live. It is pointless to write down all the things you are “going” to do if you don’t actually do them. YOU give yourself the will power to accomplish goals, not a list.

5. Bill Cosby

This man is just gross! If you haven’t heard already, he got another sexual assault charge stemming from his previous sexual assault charge from back in 2004. It is becoming harder to believe he is innocent of any of the over 30 sexual assaults he has been accused of in his career, especially in 2015 (not like I ever believed he was innocent in the first place). He truly makes me sick, so I am going to just stop my rant here because he isn’t worth anymore of my time.
