Sales is more than a daily Facebook post

You may not know it but the most important JOB in your biz, is to sell. To call in the cash. To have a sales process.

It is the oxygen. The only thing that keeps your biz alive.

We might believe that if we just show up, share a message, sit back…and wait for our attraction and energy to sell for us…that this might be enough…But maybe it isn’t?

Hmm you may be falling victim to the stories of:

“The market is too full”

“Everyone else is saying it, doing it and offering it”

“No one is buying at this time of the year”

“I’m too scared to sell”

“What if I am being too pushy?”

“I already showed them”

The truth is someone out there is making over a million dollars in parrot clothing and someone else just made $100,000 in their styling business…So what is different about what they are doing from what you are?

They are clear about how to buy from them, they invite you to buy all the time, have different levels and their distribution of their service and product is deep and wide.

So….Perhaps it is time to look at all the great work you have been doing, the hard work you have been putting in and just simply finish the process. There are often simple ways to start bringing in the sales. Let’s look at some:

  1. Simply adding a complimentary strategy session to your service. People have blocks, questions and need to be heard usually before they will commit. Especially if they don’t know you. So by adding a booking link to your emails or FB posts, you will start to bring in more enquiries. Definitely make sure you add to the offer that it IS a way to see if you would be a good fit and if you can help them. That way you have pre-framed it for people who are ready to buy.
  2. There is no way around it…you need to follow up. Remember the statistics above? Following up doesn’t mean badgering, it just means reminding people and keeping the path really clear. We live in a very busy time and if you are anything like me, need following up and for the buying process to be really simple. Following up can be as simple as private messaging that person who keeps liking your posts…Reach out to them!
  3. If you are posting on social media you need to be either directly saying…Hey here is how you can buy what I just spoke about OR sending people to your website so that they can join your database…where you can send them even more value. One of the best strategies that has helped my biz has been always alluding to how to work with me at any given time. Mostly I’m looking for the 10% of people who are ready to buy.
