She pulled her duvet over her head and sobbed silently.
Dread settled in her bones.
Irrational fears played ping-pong inside her mind. He could drug her and do whatever he wanted, or worse: laugh at her, then leave with strangers.
He was a stranger too. Yet adorable.
She created a cute little story to dwell within, but couldn’t deal with the consequences of knowing a real person.
Her skin was trembling with self-destructive and self-loathing thoughts. All gloom and doom to an almost pathological degree.
Her insecurities and overwhelming pain to get it over with lead her to the rooftop…
