Maybe don’t become a teacher

I went back to my old college yesterday to speak at an aspirations day. I had to talk in front of small classes of year 10 students and talk to them about my time at University and try to inspire them with the University route as well as to try and work towards their dreams and their dream jobs.

This was probably one of the most nerve racking things that I have done .. and I have been bungee jumping and skydiving!!!!! This is definitely definitely something that I need a LOT more confidence for as well as organisation and enthusiasm. I also need to get a lot more confidence in myself as I hate to talk about myself and my achievements in front of friends let alone groups of new people or children. I need to learn a lot more about how to speak in front of bigger groups as well as other speakers were incredibly fluent and calm with their presentations whereas I was not in the slightest.
