In the quiet of the night, I lie awake,
Thinking of you, my love, for your sake.
I remember the days when we were young,
And our love was pure and strong.

We would walk hand-in-hand through the park,
And our laughter would fill the dark.
We would dream of a future together,
A future filled with love and laughter.

But then life happened, and we drifted apart,
Our love was replaced by heartache and smart.
I miss you more than words can say,
And I long for the day when you will return.

In the meantime, I will cherish the memories we made,
And hope that someday, our love will be rekindled.
