Shikari
Shikari loved to play games. It was his addiction. He liked solving his own problems and winning.
One fine day he met his Helen of Troy. She was tall, athletic and beautiful. She had a mind of her own and had captured his heart. Eventually he had won her heart after years of determination. She was his prized possession. I had never seen a man who loved a woman so dearly. He loved like Great Gatsby. But, when it was all over he wept like a child. It was as if his favourite toy was broken and it was irreplaceable. He hoped that time would heal everything. But he would never let any woman close to him.
He wanted to be the toughest cookie on the block. But there always a glimpse of his sweetness that oozed out once in a while. And when you were lucky enough to see it, you would believe in miracles. And those miracles made the best memories. Every time, I think of it, I get this tingly feeling.
You always wanted to make him feel special. Not out of pity, but because he deserved it. He was a warrior with deep scars and stitches. And all I wanted was his hugs and kisses.
Note: Felt cheesy so wrote this fictional creative piece.
