Help build a world-class machine learning team and solve problems that matter
My client is a high-growth startup on a mission to make the Internet a safer place. They already protect some of the world’s most notable online brands and are assembling a top engineering team as they scale their business.
We’re looking for veteran machine learning engineers to build the realtime intelligence that powers our business.
This is a full-stack machine learning position where you will be researching, testing, training, and putting models into production. Once online, you’ll ensure they perform and continue learning in realtime. You’ll be asked to devise pragmatic solutions to novel problems, day in and day out.
Part applied modeling scientist and part software engineer, you have experience building machine learning models that work at scale, ideally with expertise in Java or another JVM-based language.
You have a strong background in statistics and probabilistic inferencing, and experience with multiple forms of machine/deep learning. Feature extraction and normalization, bayesian networks, deep forests, k-means clustering, neural networks… you understand the art and craft of getting ML to actually work in the field, sifting through ambiguity, and finding the best tool for the job.
Raised over $50M from tier one investors in order to tackle a winner-takes-all market where having the most data will make all the difference. Around 25 engineers on the team. Located in San Francisco.
Smart, happy people who work hard, but not too hard, and believe in our mission. A diverse group that genuinely enjoys working together.
