Full-Stack Engineer sought by student lending startup
My client helps high-potential students from disadvantaged backgrounds pay for college, and they’re looking for an experienced full-stack engineer.
They’re building a more complete model of student performance in order to place smarter bets, helping high-potential kids achieve better outcomes. Fintech meets edtech for public good.
Opportunity: Get in early and have a ton of impact. Build new features, refine the product, and help scale the system. Get involved with product definition, A/B testing, and usage metrics to help make smart decisions.
Like any early-stage venture, expect to wear a lot of hats.
About you: You’re an experienced full-stack engineer who likes to operate across the stack. Eager to work closely every day with a passionate team—this isn’t a job for remote work or solo artists.
You’re a self-starter who can deal with ambiguity. You’re ready to jump right into the mix and get onboard their daily release train.
Stack: React on the front-end and Python/Django, Postgres, and Redis on the back-end. Definitely open to working with folks who’ve been using different technologies.
Company profile: With top venture backers, the company is in a strong position for future funding rounds, thanks in part to surging interest in new models for student lending. Located in downtown SF.
