Balance (Poem)

Remember…

That you were born into a world

Where for all the darkness
There exists the perfect diffraction of blue, in a bright blue sky

Where for all the loneliness
There exists the cloud’s wisp, on a journey to rejoin the ocean

Where for all the doubt
There exist dogs that can’t wait to wag their tail for you

Where for all the gray
There exists mangoes, whose yellow creaminess seems too good for this Earth

Where for all the silence
There exists music, a portal into the melody of each moment

Where for all the grief
There exists a mother, who has just stopped time by looking into the eyes of her newborn child

Where for all the missed ambitions
There exists a young girl, who’s just acquired her first school textbook

Remember that in this song of life, the saddest music can have the most powerful lyrics.

So honor your tears as much as your joy, and dance this mysterious dance while you still can; the song won’t last forever…
