I think it’s worth pointing out that there is absolutely power in a default. Exhibit A: UASF vs. the Bitcoin miners. Sure, users can revolt, but it’s better if we don’t create a system where those in control likely do not have the users best interests at heart. I would argue foundation-based governance (at least in the short term) makes things almost entirely user focused, while coin-holder based governance does not.
