It’s October, and movie talk is flying every direction. God-director Martin Scorsese is saying he can’t watch the 800 superhero movies from the last decade, and that they’re not for him (paraphrasing). Sensitive filmmakers are having Twitter-fingers. (James Gunn, learn your lesson, please!) Comic book movie fans are defending their prized intellectual property, be it Endgame or the nauseatingly over-talked about Joker — which as it turns out is just another comic book movie, only in Scorsese-movie-cosplay.
