Excellent! Thanks for the links to refer to where you got the title from, as well as the explanation of idiot. Providing those really added depth to other lines of this piece. It reminded me of my favorite poem by Emily Dickinsen, long ago committed to memory:

There is a solitude of space

A solitude of sea

A solitude of death but these

Society shall be

Compared to that profounder site

That polar privacy

A soul admitted to itself —

Finite infinity.
