I certainly hope you are incorrect. In my opinion, Government control over more things ends poorly, and based on a quick search of the comments you have made recently I assume you believe much the opposite. The first amendment to our consideration guarantees me the right to believe one thing and you to believe something entirely different, but the greatest injustice we could do to ourselves is to effectively negate that freedom by refusing to talk to anyone that doesn’t confirm our beliefs.
Net neutrality is a very important issue which is unfortunately not a very well understood topic in rural America. My side typically points to only the government regulation and tries to stir up the hate many people have for the government. The liberal side typically only points to the end goal of giving everyone access to the internet at reasonable speeds. Neither side wants to look at the other and concede they have a rational point they are trying to make. I do not want to speak for you, but one of the most important things my side and I personally can do is talk openly about the fears we have of government regulations while at the same time agree with the end result that the liberal side is pushing for and spend time working toward a permanent solution.
