Delaware — July 5, 2017 — Ubitquity LLC, the first blockchain-secured platform for real estate recordkeeping, is pleased to announce the creation of Ubitquity Labs, an innovation division led by Ubitquity’s VP of Technology Jacob Robinson.

Ubitquity Labs’ task is to build innovate projects, build prototypes, and experiment without affecting Ubitquity’s production stack. Any projects from Ubitquity Labs’ that pass its rigorous quality assurance requirements for reliability, stability and added value will be integrated into the live platform.

“The blockchain industry is driven by innovation,” said Nathan Wosnack, Founder, President and CEO of Ubitquity. “In order to maintain our leadership role in the blockchain real estate recording industry, we’re investing heavily in our new research and development team.”

Ubitquity Labs’ first projects, listed on its new portal, involve testing new cloud storage solutions to securely decentralize real estate data storage. More details will be disclosed at a later time, and these solutions are expected to be offered to clients in the coming months. The Ubitquity Labs team is also experimenting with the use of ChromaWay’s Postchain to see if it offers a more efficient and innovative solution than its existing Colu/Colored Coins-powered platform.

“I’m thrilled for the new opportunity to lead Ubitquity’s innovation efforts,” said Robinson. “As VP of Technology and leader of Ubitquity Labs, it’s my job to ensure that we ship to clients code that’s secure, reliable, and innovative.”
