Creating something great, you know will be loved.

I know for a fact that people don’t think of me this way but I’ve got some experience under my belt.

I’ve been working for companies and having clients since I was 15 (so for five years) and even though that’s not a long time, I’ve done so much with that time. I’ve explored so many types of projects and activities with my time.

None of them felt as good as the project I just finished.

The last week I’ve been working on a super-secret project. It’s a personal project, not even remotely work. The thing about this project is it’s such an above and beyond idea. It takes a very simple, reasonable request, and blows it way way up.

I spent 75.5 hours on this project in 7 days. I pulled almost all of my energy into focusing on the project almost all of everyday. At the end of the week, with little sleep, I’m so happy with the results.

I’m harping on how much I love this project because I want to make a point about working on projects.

Projects, to me, are about getting good things done and making actual impacts on people. Yes, it’s awesome to hear that your work is nice and appreciated but there is a whole other level to projects — loving it.

I’ve never loved one of my projects before. I’ve never had others love it so much. I’ve never been more pumped to share this one.

Follow me (@Pitskunack) or wait around for tomorrows post to see the project.
