3D-DARE to Fight RE Enemies and Villains from the Previous 2 Titles!

RE 3D is a 2011 spinoff title in the titular gaming franchise, between RE5–4 (2005, 2009), exclusively on 3DS, which was the successor of DS for its 3D/2D on and off option(s) (no glasses required). Distributed by Capcom and Nintendo, the game allows players to battle horrid enemies from RE 4–5, including undead foreigners and man-made monsters in fighting environments from the 5th and 4th games in the franchise. Having once played it on 3DS myself, I really enjoyed kicking and shooting monstrous peaches, even though some of them included black zombies from RE5, further depicting gameplay-based racism, originally depicted in the 5th game. The main positive messages are valor, heroism, teamwork, if need be, and heroically persistent blooded/gory violence out of self-defense against fictionalized threats of various kinds. The prime positive role models to depict these features are Chris and Clare Redfield, Leon Kennedy, and other optional player characters.

The violence and scariness in the game include fearsome enemies from RE4–5, as said, characters being dismembered, punched, kicked, exploded, opened fire on, gored/impaled, etc, and blood seeping out of fallen enemy characters. Even fruitful head-shots are involved throughout gameplay, resulting in further beheading/dismemberment. Whether you play the game in 3D or not, it was quite the gaming experience for myself when I first played it personally on 3DS. Some tied-in merch incl. in reality not only a downloadable demo RE Revelations (1/2) but also, real-life off-screen clothing, toys, etc. There is not much gender/doping/drinking/smoking content in this preciseRE title, of course. For these reasons, I highly recommend this ole 3DS exclusive game to age groups from late adolescents to adults, even those who are fans of the franchise in general.
