How Climate Change is Affecting Our Redwood Forests
Chelsea Iversen

Here’s a redwood tree in San Francisco that needs support for its’ landmark status.

San Francisco resident Mere Jaye, lives on Montclair Terrace off Lombard Street. She has an amazing healthy redwood tree, measuring 26 feet in circumference at the base.

There is a hearing at SF city hall Friday January 27th at 8:30 am (room 400) to discuss landmark status for this tree.

At least one neighbor is against the nomination because the growth of the tree partially blocks the view of the bay.

If you would like to lend an additional voice of support you can attend the hearing, sign the on-line petition or write a letter of support.

Here’s Mere’s website.
