I am a fashion connoisseur. I have a strong passion for fashion. I also wear perfume. I believe in slashing out in that occasional luxury good. For example, champagne or a designer bag. However, we should only buy what is real and treat ALL fakes/suspected fakes with caution. Better yet, don’t buy fake goods.

We are talking about counterfeit goods in a sense that you should always think before you buy. And to a greater extent, think before you pick up a dodgy looking fake perfume bottle (or other fake unidentified goods)from the ground. If you don’t drink alcohol that has been offered to you by a complete stranger, particularly a male, why go around using unidentified perfume bottles which turn out to be complete counterfeit and extremely dangerous that could potentially kill you?

This turns out to be true for the unfortunate British couple who thought they were using a REAL Nina Ricci perfume- it turned out to be a complete FAKE. What’s worse though, is that the contents actually contained a NERVE AGENT! Sadly Dawn Sturgess , the wife who used the perfume, died from Novichok (nerve agent) poisoning- (which is what was one of the bottle ingredients was as it turned out) Novichok is an EXTREMELY deadly and rare nerve agent. This is one of the reasons why, you should treat unidentified fake luxury goods with extreme caution, just like you do with unattended alcoholic drinks or drinks given by strange men. And NEVER go picking an unidentified object up — especially if it is counterfeit, no matter how tempting it is. It could be fake Moet and Chandon. It could be a fake bag. It could be anything. Fakes aren’t just illegal or a rip off, but potentially dangerous because you don’t know what the contents are or what it has been contaminated with. By being aware of this, you could save your own or your friends life.
