Tips 101: How to Set an Accurate Deadline
Sometimes, this small thing called “Deadline” can make us stressed and in a rush if we didn’t pay attention to it. However, these tools (Eisenhower’s Urgent/Important Principle) will make us easier to manage our deadlines. Here is the summary about it:
Eisenhower’s Urgent/Important Principle categorized tasks/activities based on 4 (four) quadrants. Do, if this task goes to urgent and important. Plan, if this task belongs to not urgent but important. Delegate, if this task is urgent but not important. Eliminate, if this task is not urgent and also not important.
Besides using Eisenhower’s Urgent/Important principle as your tools, here are the other 5 tips to set an accurate deadline:
- Write down to-do-list
- Set reminders for every task
- Prioritize urgent and important tasks first
- Know your limit
- Make a schedule
