Agreed that ghostwriting is a short term option, but it can’t be short-sighted. You know the benefits and pitfalls of being in a ghostwriting contract.
I’m not trying to compare ghostwriting with genuine writing. Both are applicable as per the writer’s situation. My perspective is enjoy while it lasts, do good work no matter the purpose you are doing it for. Ultimately, this is where you learn about writing as a skill— to improve your writing, to use the right tools, and to most importantly, work with an editor
Imagine writing a piece which has become pretty popular and then realising it has a small, but embarrassing error which could have easily be avoided.
