But sometimes, playing around with engagement can also be unethical. Eventually making engagement a primary measure leads to a polarized audience. The reason I say this is because engaging with view extremely pro or against your opinion just reinforces your biases. This leads to exactly the kind of polarization that a company like Cambridge Analytica can take advantage of. We are badly in need to unbiased editorial. Unfortunately, these unbiased articles will never lead to engagement.
