Purpose
To enhance the transportation fare top -up experience.
People:
Local families who reply on public transport to travel daily will be our leading target user group, including foreign travelers and the old generation who unfamiliar with top-up machine. The key stakeholders are SMRT.
Performance:
To enhance the user interface and in turn, experience of top up for transportation fare becomes easy and smooth.
Place:
General Ticketing Machine at all SMRT stations and all SBST/NEL stations. TransitLink Add Vale Machine at selected MRT stations, bus interchanges, and selected bus stops.

Approach / Ideas
Reduce hassle of queuing and wasting time in front of the top-up machine,
which becomes the cause of delay to personal activities.
Now passengers can do multiple top-ups via the EZ-link app
and will be notified of any insufficient funds from their own and
family members’ transit card.
