I have struggled with depression many times. As a human, it’s a human desire that others should be interested in that human. But as in my case this never happened. While studying in university I had two to three classmates whom I first thought could be converted as a friend for me but after looking at their selfishness I realized that no one can be my friend. For example, whenever I had an assignment I was the only person who helped them and did not care whether my numbers would be deduced or not, but when I needed help they would back off, as I were a stranger for them or as if I were a viper who would poison them. But sooner I realized that I should find positive things in it.

The first thing I found that this behavior of my friends, teaches me the difference between the dearest and stranger. Then it teaches me a lesson that the assignment I complete helps me to increase my brain productivity and improve my written skills.

5 steps to positive change by Shawn Achor.

I followed three of five steps suggested by Shawn Anchor to help me feel happy and to become positive. I had a great experience while accomplishing this task. I daily used to write about three new things that I was grateful like that God made me a hard working person. He made me soft-hearted human and lastly, he taught me a lesson to how to judge different people. The second step I applied was, exercising for 15 minutes which diverted my mind to other things like on first day after jogging in garden, I started praising God about the nature He created and I realized that whether something bad came or will come in my future I should be positive and think that, that bad thing would definitely have a lesson for me . The third step I followed was meditation. This method was one of the best method to relieve my tensions and be positive. After applying this method I felt like my brain was empty and light. It was as I forgot all my past memory and my brain is creating new room to store new memories. The three steps from Shawn Anchor was very useful as it boosted me and made me to be more positive.
