Going from UX to service design; the stark honest truth no one will tell you

This hit home — thank-you! I’m a Service Designer in North America who didn’t come from UX or Europe, or Digital for that matter. I work in a digital agency and struggle to explain why SD is different from UX, precisely because we speak so much of the same language and agree on so much philosophically. What I do know is that after 3 years, I consider my UX skills to be negligible, yet I am growing as a service designer all the time.
