Preferred XI would be our 4–2–3–1: Cech; Bellerin, Kos, Gabriel, Nacho; Granit, Ramsey; Ox, Özil, Alexis; Giroud. This is in no way fixture proof, but on that away night at the Nou Camp I’d prefer Santi alongside Xhaka, with Ramsey on the wing and Alexis upfront or Walcott.

And clearly, Giroud is not enough by himself now that Dat Guy Welbz is out until the New Year.
