Being an artist and a programmer are not mutually exclusive. I come from a family of artists and I was a decent artist when I was in high school and college. I branched off into the science and software engineering. But I still do a little bit. The nderground logo is my creation (I am a huge fan of Japanese art).

I have been writing software for most of my life. I love software. Software is the ultimate tool for the mind. Programming languages are just part of the tool box.

They say a long journey begins with one step. You are making the first step. I think that it was a wise choice to start with something other than JavaScript. So I think that you have made a strong start.
