Try asking Jelly a question when you don’t have the time or inclination to sift through search results and you don’t want to ask your social media contacts. Asking Jelly is not attached to your identity — you don’t need to create an account to get answers. Asking Jelly is as familiar as a search engine but the engine part is the wondrous power of nice, helpful people.

So let me get this straight… You’re really busy (or lazy) and don’t want to put in the time to research something with your favorite search engine. So you turn to Jelly. Where you can take advantage of the free expertise of other people who donate their wisdom and time, free of charge. So you’re really busy, but somehow these experts are not.
Then there’s the issue that there are already venues for this: stackoverflow, Wikipedia, Hacker News, Slashdot and even the infamous Reddit.
I donate money every month to the Wikipedia Foundation because the math articles helped me get through grad school. Wikipedia is also an important source of information in my work. Perhaps someday I can contribute time and expertise to Wikipedia, not just money. Wikipedia is a noble endeavor, run by a non-profit foundation. Jelly… Not so much.
