Modern students have to work as much as 6x longer to pay for college than 30 years ago.
Forget College. Get Money.

I don’t know what is ginning up all of this generational conflict.

I find the current situation with college tuition horrifying. The fact that higher education has a big economic return should be obvious.

When I started college at a University of California tuition was $212/quarter, for any number of classes. My major expense in college was living expenses.

University funding has been steadily decreased for decades. The result has been higher and higher tuition.

For decades our country has been cutting taxes and cutting university funding. This is how we arrived at our current reality.
