I love learning too.
I almost ended up flunking out of the University my Freshman year before I accepted the fact that in college you are there to pass tests and get good grades. Learning may (or may not) be a side effect.
Graduate school, many years later, was better than the undergraduate environment. I could focus on my area of study. But it was still about passing exams and finishing homework sets. There was never enough time to learn all I wished.
I am sure that my graduate professors would have said that learning continues after the degree and the degree just provides the foundation.
