I’d take this list with a bag of salt…
I am big fan of the D programming language and Walter Bright, who built the compiler. This said, D has hardly taken the world by storm. So I have to question this list. Also, Common Lisp??? Lisp has a great tendency toward being a “write only” language. Sure someone who has deep experience with Common Lisp can be productive. But no one else is going to be able to maintain their code. In fact, if the author goes back to the code after a few months they many not be able to maintain it.
