My favorite Within Temptation album is The Unforgiving. The only album of theirs that I’m not that wild about is Mother Earth.
My tastes run heavily toward operatic metal with female lead vocalists these days (Xandria, Nightwish and some of Sirenia). But there are exceptions. One band that you might like, Oliver, is The 69 Eyes. I recommend giving Paris Kills a listen. A similar band that I also like is Beseech and their album Soul Highway.
The only music service that I subscribe to is Pandora (which introduced me to all of the bands except Nightwish). Youtube has been a great way to figure out if I like a band or a particular album.
