Unlimited vacation is a dark-perk and you should use that to your advantage

Once a company gets to the point where they can afford it, I think that companies should have required vacation. Banks do this to make fraud more difficult, but technology companies should do this to avoid burnout.

The idea of “required” vacation is not to create an environment where people could be fired for not taking vacation, but rather to shift the culture so that vacation is expected and considered a good thing.

I also agree that, once the company can afford it, there should be an allocated amount of vacation.
